Graduate Midwifery and Nursing Program

Our program is designed to develop a well-prepared, high-quality, safe midwifery and nursing workforce committed to improving health outcomes.

We use the latest evidence to inform our program study days, ensuring that our graduates are equipped with the knowledge and skills required to succeed in their roles.

  • Two pathways are available for Midwifery graduates:
  • Blended Nursing / Midwifery Stream: 18 months total (12 months midwifery and 6 months nursing)
  • Pure Midwifery Stream: 12 months in midwifery

Throughout the program, our Learning and Teaching team and clinical staff provide a supportive environment that encourages the development of clinical skills, reflective practice and a sense of professional identity and accountability.

As a graduate, you will play a key role in contributing to change and innovation within the organization.

Vacation Requirements: Vaccination against infectious disease is mandatory. An offer of employment is conditional on providing evidence of current vaccination against COVID-19 with booster and influenza prior to commencing employment.
