Health and Safety Manager

World Vision Australia is seeking a dedicated and experienced Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager to join our team. As a key member of our People Partnerships department, you will play a critical role in advancing and enabling a unified culture of safety, wellbeing, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective health, safety, and wellbeing strategies to prevent injuries and illnesses.
- Manage and investigate workplace incidents, ensuring compliance with Australian health and safety legislation.
- Design and deliver employee experiences that promote a responsive culture of safety and wellbeing.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to influence effective safety and security outcomes and culture.
- Drive a high-performance culture through coaching and development of team members.
- Strong knowledge of Australian health and safety legislation and experience managing projects and change in systems and organisational culture.
- Extensive experience in conducting investigations into work, health, and safety matters and strong technical knowledge of safety and security management principles and practices.
- Proven experience in developing effective Workplace Health, Safety & Wellbeing policies and procedures.
- Ability to work collaboratively with all key stakeholders.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in work, health, and safety (or a related discipline) and equivalent industry experience.
