World Vision Australia is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as the Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager. Reporting to the Head of People Partnerships, this role is pivotal in advancing and enabling a unified culture of safety, wellbeing, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective WHS strategies to prevent incidents and promote a culture of safety.
- Manage all aspects of incident investigation, injury management, and workers' compensation.
- Design and deliver employee experiences that provide contemporary care and support, in partnership with health and wellbeing providers.
- Ensure safety assurance and compliance for work-related travel.
- Build and maintain internal relationships to drive effective Safety and Security outcomes.
- Lead a high-performance culture through coaching and development.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Australian health and safety legislation and experience in managing projects and change.
- Extensive experience in conducting investigations and technical knowledge of safety and security management principles.
- Proven experience in developing effective WHS policies and procedures.
- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in work, health, and safety, or equivalent industry experience.
