Job Description
The Marine Food Processing Specialist will be responsible for fish filleting and other seafood processing tasks, working in a dynamic and supportive environment. The role requires physical fitness and good health, as well as flexibility to work at varying hours as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Filleting fish and performing various seafood processing tasks
- Weighing, cleaning, and grading fish and shellfish
- Draining, tailing, pickling, crumbing, and cooking seafood
- Chilling fish and shellfish, sealing cartons, and trimming heads
- Bulk packaging, operating single-function fish processing equipment, and can closure machines
- Packing in standard containers and recording documentation as required
- Cold storage chiller and freezer operations
