Chief Information Officer Job Description

The Catholic Archdiocese operates 56 Schools in the ACT and NSW, and nine Early Learning Centres (ELCs) in the ACT.

This role is responsible for ensuring that IT capability services the schools and ELCs. The primary indicator of success is school Principals assessing the IT systems as supporting them to do their job well.

  • Lead whole-of-enterprise technology strategy
  • Deliver ICT Services
  • Provide advice on digital transformation and risk management

To be successful, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or similar field
  • Executive leadership experience in a medium to large organisation with complex ICT requirements
  • Clearance and certification as required by law

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote the adoption of technology across the enterprise
  • Ensure effective delivery of ICT services
  • Advise on strategic technology initiatives
