A leading commercial fit out contractor, Core Talent Pty, is seeking a seasoned Site Manager to oversee the successful completion of a full office and retail fit out project in Canberra. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction project management and be confident in their ability to liaise with stakeholders, subcontractors, and site teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and finishing trades on site to ensure timely completion of works.
- Monitor work progress in line with schedules and deadlines, maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Conduct regular quality inspections to ensure work meets project standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure the site meets all health, safety, and environmental (HS&E) requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the project management team to report progress and address any issues promptly.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial fit out projects.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methodologies related to finishing works.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure.
