Rehabilitation Specialist Role

Our organisation is seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation Specialist to collaborate closely with treatment providers and ensure the best recovery outcomes for clients. This role requires you to be passionate about helping people navigate complex rehabilitation plans and providing the best possible outcomes.

  • Required qualifications include AHPRA or ESSA registration and a tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology.
  • You will need to provide clinical opinions and justification through report writing, as well as attend various workplaces on a weekly basis to learn the physical demands and responsibilities of different job roles.
  • Educating workplaces on how to manage and prevent workplace injuries is also a key part of this role.
  • You will build relationships with health professionals, specialists, employers, insurers and other key stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for clients.

As a Rehabilitation Specialist, you will be customer-focused, passionate about building and nurturing relationships. Quality orientation is key, visiting workplaces to understand the challenges faced by injured workers. You will be people-passionate, assessing injured workers to determine the best way to help them recover and get back to work.

Key Responsibilities:
