Position Summary

We are looking for a Lead Technician to join our Fire Alarm Monitoring Services team in Western Australia. This role is crucial in providing technical support and services, ensuring the effective operation of fire alarm systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct installations, upgrades, and maintenance of Alarm Signaling Equipment (ASE) units.
  • Perform diagnostics, repairs, and routine checks on ASE units.
  • Oversee inventory management for ASE units and related components.
  • Facilitate technical training sessions for subcontractors.
  • Be available for emergency call-outs and after-hours service requests.
  • Support IT infrastructure and hardware for the Code Red WA Network.
  • Work independently while demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Travel across Western Australia as required for job assignments.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Technician or Fire Alarm Technician within the fire protection sector.
  • Strong understanding of IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Possession of an electrical license and cabling license (open/unrestricted).
  • Current driver's license and unrestricted work rights.
  • Intermediate computer proficiency and adeptness with tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and background check.
  • Familiarity with Australian Standards related to fire protection systems is advantageous.
  • Positive attitude and a commitment to customer service excellence.
