Electrical Fire Technician Wanted

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Fire Technician to join our team at ACRUX Search Pty Ltd. The ideal candidate will have experience in servicing fire alarm systems, testing fire protection systems and equipment, and programming fire panels and cabling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site surveys to identify fire protection and safety system requirements.
  • Test, service, and repair fire protection, safety systems, and equipment to ensure compliance with Australian Standards.
  • Provide accurate and legible records of maintenance performed on equipment.
  • Inspect, test, and maintain fixed fire systems, including fire indicator panels.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their fire protection needs are met.
  • Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in fire protection technology.
  • Communicate job progress and performance to stakeholders.
  • Adhere to company and client HSEQ policies, ethics, and procedures.
About You:
  • Proven experience in fire protection and safety systems, with a strong understanding of Australian Standards.
  • Australian Electrical 'A' Grade licence and EHAL are highly regarded.
  • Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme (FPAS) accreditation and Cabling licence are preferred.
  • Unrestricted work rights and a current Driver's licence.
  • Construction industry white card (or the ability to obtain one).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong prioritization skills and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional results.
