About Our Therapeutic Services

We provide a range of services, including residential out-of-home care, respite care, and in-home support to children and young people aged between 5 and 17.

Our therapeutic framework is designed to help create and support change in young people who have suffered serious trauma. We operate a licensed service that prioritizes their social, educational, cultural, and emotional growth.

The Role You'll Play

You'll be supporting Children and Young People living in Residential Out-of-Home Care at our rural properties, where we focus on a technology-reduced model of care.

Your main responsibilities will include engaging with and supporting Children and Young People who exhibit challenging behaviors, helping them achieve their goals. You'll also oversee their daily care.

Main Responsibilities

  • Providing hands-on support in teaching life skills, such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting, completing homework, personal care, booking and attending appointments, participating in sports, and engaging in schooling
  • Developing support documentation, including Positive Behaviour Support Plans and progress reports
  • Assessing and supporting the developmental progress of our Young People
  • Liaising with stakeholders to share information, contribute to planning, and ensure desired outcomes are achieved
  • Creating activity plans and facilitating community engagement for the Young Person
  • Safely supporting behaviours using Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) techniques
