Inventory Manager

We are seeking an Inventory Management Specialist to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the quality, service, and integrity of the inventory management function across the site.
The role involves effective management of inventory operations, including ensuring the integrity of all inventory held at the respective Schenker Logistics Site.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, customer service skills, and business acumen.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring, maintaining, and reporting all product movement inclusive of receipt, dispatch, and storage.
- Ensuring supervision is maintained over all inventory functionality.
- Identifying and investigating all stock discrepancies.
- Managing daily cycle counts and wall-to-wall storage location checks to ensure integrity of clients' inventory.
- Coordinating and managing stock takes, including scheduling, updating procedures, assembling all required resources, reconciling stock take results.
- Performing physical counts of inventory.
- Maintaining WMS databases.
- Reviewing action plans and developing or recommending changes to systems and procedures to improve the overall inventory accuracy.
- Ensuring the Inventory Team conforms to company and site operating procedures.
- Monitoring and delivering on all relevant site KPIs.
- Reviewing and recommending changes to systems and procedures to reduce costs without impacting service levels.
- Providing support to internal customers.
- Training of inventory control concepts and methods of measurement and improvement.
