Technical Lead Role for HVAC Specialists

This challenging opportunity requires exceptional technical proficiency and leadership skills to support a team of HVAC specialists.

The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding customers and internal teams on product features, applications, and solutions.

  • Providing expert guidance and support to customers and internal teams on Trane chiller products
  • Collaborating with the sales team to identify customer needs and deliver tailored solutions
  • Conducting product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions for clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
  • Maintaining awareness of industry trends, market developments, and competitor offerings related to Trane products
  • Assisting in the development of equipment condition reports, technical documentation, and product manuals
  • Supporting product development initiatives by gathering feedback and insights from the field and customers
  • Overseeing a team of technical specialists responsible for Trane chiller product installation, service, and maintenance
  • Providing technical guidance and support to the team, ensuring adherence to OEM specification, quality, and safety standards

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Experience/exposure to commercial HVAC chillers
  • Trade qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
  • A valid Driver's License
  • A Construction Induction Card (white card)
  • A current ARC Licence
  • Experience in A/C maintenance and installations of all types
  • Good time management and customer service skills
  • Technical competence
  • Ability and confidence to work alone and in a team environment
