Job Title:

Contract Automotive Assessor

Overview:

The Australian Trade Training College is seeking a trade-qualified assessor to conduct Job Ready assessments with overseas participants in their workplace based in South East Queensland.

They have an established RTO delivering Trade Recognition programs based in Brisbane and are extending their team to include a contract assessor to undertake these assessments on behalf of the college.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Job Ready assessments with overseas participants in their workplace.
  • Verify the knowledge and skills developed by participants who have previously gained an automotive qualification as part of this migration program.
  • Assess the eligibility of participants for permanent residency.
  • Write applicant assessment reports detailing the participant's assessment results.
  • Communicate effectively with participants who have English as a second language.

Requirements:

  • Australian trade qualification in Automotive – Certificate III or above.
  • Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or the Assessor Skill Set.
  • Previous training and assessment history (desirable).
  • Reliable vehicle and current drivers' license.
  • Ability to work within timelines.
  • Attention to detail.
