We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Care Specialist to join our dynamic team at Northern Beaches Hospital's Ward 3C, a purpose-built facility designed with patient safety and care delivery in mind.
About the Role- Establish strong relationships with patients, families, and staff from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and person-centred, evidence-based care.
- Work within scope of practice and demonstrate clinical competencies.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement effective care plans, and evaluate outcomes to ensure optimal patient well-being.
- Manage workload efficiently and maintain personal well-being.
Job Description: Provide mental health care services to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in nursing or related field
- Registration as a Registered Nurse with a valid practising certificate
- Experience in mental health care, preferably in an acute setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

About Us: Northern Beaches Hospital offers world-class, Level 5 delineation services catering to both public and private patients. Our mental health service comprises 63 beds, configured into four distinct units: a 20-bed acute care unit, a 6-bed short-stay unit, a 15-bed older persons' unit, and a 22-bed private ward.
