We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mental Health Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in the mental health environment.
About the Role:This is a casual pool position with flexible hours to suit your lifestyle and commitments. You will be responsible for providing expert nursing care to patients/clients, coordinating care, and adhering to relevant policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients/clients in the mental health service.
- Coordinate care, adhere to policies and procedures.
- Tertiary qualifications in Nursing and current registration as a Registered Nurse with the relevant professional body.
- Demonstrated high-level communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to identify key messages, issues, and concerns when communicating with others.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively engage with patients/clients to enhance service delivery and guide others in providing excellent care.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team and apply professional and ethical boundaries when dealing with complex situations.
- Basic computer skills and proven ability to use healthcare information systems.
- Understanding of recovery principles and commitment to consumer-focused care.
- Experience delivering high-quality patient care in Mental Health at a postgraduate level.
- Experience in care provision, assessment, and risk management within the mental health environment.
