Room Leader Job Opportunity

The position of Room Leader is available at a vibrant early learning service in the heart of Hobart. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team of educators and contribute to the growth and development of young children.

  • Lead a team of educators to deliver high-quality programs that cater to the diverse needs of children.
  • Implement daily routines, maintain records of child development, and continuously reflect on and improve the learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other educators, families, and children to create a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement programs that reflect cultural backgrounds and emerging skills and interests of children.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with families, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).
  • Sound knowledge of early learning quality and educational frameworks.
  • Ability to lead and manage time effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Comprehensive understanding of National Law and Regulations.
