Room Leader Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Room Leader to join our team at our early learning service in the heart of Hobart. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for leading a room of children and supporting their development through play-based learning.

Job Description:
  • This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team of educators who are passionate about providing high-quality care and education to young children.
  • You will be responsible for implementing programs that reflect cultural backgrounds and the emerging skills and interests of children.
  • In this role, you will also create a play-based learning environment responsive to children's strengths and abilities.
Requirements:
  • Holding a Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (or equivalent) is required for this position.
  • A sound knowledge of early learning quality and educational frameworks is essential.
  • You will also bring experience in planning, reflecting, working, and managing time effectively with minimal supervision.
  • A comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the National Law and Regulations is necessary.
  • An ability to learn and understand early childhood development theories is also important.
