Job Summary

KinCare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team in Sutherland. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, promoting healthy eating and independence.
  • Offer social support and access to lifestyle activities, helping to combat loneliness and isolation.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and medication management, to support our customers' physical and emotional well-being.
  • Offer respite and emotional support to our customers and their families, providing a much-needed break and promoting overall well-being.
  • Transport customers to appointments and social events, promoting independence and community engagement.
  • Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, including dementia, requiring a high level of skill and compassion.

Requirements

  • You must be passionate about assisting our aged community and have a current P1 class or above Australian Driver's License and a registered vehicle.
  • You should be able to work independently, finding solutions to everyday problems and knowing when to ask for help.
  • You must be available to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work required.
