About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to join our team at KinCare. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our elderly customers in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Domestic Assistance: Assist customers with cleaning, laundry, and other household tasks to ensure their home remains safe and comfortable.
  • Personal Care: Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as managing medications and mobility.
  • Meal Preparation and Shopping: Assist customers with meal preparation and grocery shopping to ensure they have access to nutritious food.
  • Social Support and Transport: Provide emotional support and transport customers to appointments, social events, and lifestyle activities.
  • Respite and Emotional Support: Offer respite care and emotional support to customers and their families.
Requirements
  • Experience: 6 months or more in a similar role, including experience with personal care.
  • Certifications: Current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle.
  • Availability: Available to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Skills: Ability to work independently, find solutions to everyday problems, and prioritize tasks effectively.
