Position Summary

We are currently seeking dedicated and skilled Field Service Fitters to enhance our dynamic team. This role involves working with various commercial engines, primarily in the oil and gas sector, as well as supporting construction and mining operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Caterpillar equipment.
  • Utilize Caterpillar Diagnostic Systems (ET Vims, SIMSi, and SIS) effectively.
  • Ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Organize and plan daily service activities to meet operational demands.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to job completion.
  • Uphold the highest quality standards in all work performed.
  • Monitor workflows to optimize efficiency and productivity.

Candidate Profile:

  • Must possess a Trade Qualification as a Diesel Fitter.
  • Proven experience in diagnosing and servicing Caterpillar commercial engines, both Diesel and Gas.
  • Competency in maintaining industrial engines, generator sets, and gas engines.
  • Experience with stationary equipment, including crushers, compressors, and pumps.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer service.
  • Familiarity with Caterpillar Diagnostic Systems (SIMSi and SIS).
  • Dedication to workplace health and safety standards.
  • Excellent time management abilities.
  • Commitment to quality control and adherence to schedules.
