Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Professional to deliver high-quality care to consumers of our Inpatient and Extended Treatment Services.

This role is critical in ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centred care by addressing complex social needs, promoting patient flow, reducing delayed discharges, and preventing avoidable readmissions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To provide specialist assessment and treatment services to consumers and their families or carers.
  • To promote community awareness in relation to mental health and act as a consultant to other agencies with regard to the support and management of consumers with mental health needs.
Requirements:

You will need:

  • A strong understanding of current and contemporary social work and client-centred practice principles.
  • The ability to exercise professional judgement and initiative, and to work with general supervision and seek guidance where appropriate.
  • Demonstrated time-management skills and ability to prioritise and monitor a busy workload while providing a high standard of consumer care.
