Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Climbing Arborist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective safe trimming or dismantling of trees through safe climbing techniques and safe work practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing safe and competent climbing techniques
  • Clearing vegetation around/near powerlines
  • Conducting risk assessments
  • Establishing and implementing vegetation drop zones
  • Operating an Elevated Work Platform
  • Safely operating plant and chainsaw equipment
  • Clearing vegetation debris from worksites

Requirements:

  • A current drivers licence
  • Elevated Work Platform License
  • Chainsaw Operators Certificates Level 1 & 2
  • Cert III in Arboriculture
  • The ability to work safely
  • The flexibility to Live Away from Home for up to 2 weeks at a time

Preferred Qualifications:

  • White card
  • First aid/CPR
  • MR/HR Truck Licence
