Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Field Service Technician to support our underground mining customers in Queensland.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the testing, repair, installation, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems on mine sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical equipment underground
  • On-site electrical auditing, testing, breakdown assistance, commissioning, and installation of mentioned systems
  • Provide face-to-face support to clients
  • Work individually and in small teams across various mine sites
  • Produce timely and quality service-related reports following site work completed

Requirements:

  • A willingness to work hands-on in an electrical manufacturing and service environment
  • Safety as a core value
  • Experience with HV electrical equipment and systems specific to mining and utilities (including diagnosis and fault finding)
  • Knowledge of explosion protection techniques
  • Understanding of relevant industry standards
  • Good report writing skills
