Job Description:

As a technical advisor, you will work closely with clients in the public sector to manage and deliver projects, services, and outcomes throughout the whole life cycle of assets.

You will focus on expanding opportunities in asset management, systems engineering, and urban development. Your expertise will help clients achieve their goals and exceed expectations.

  • Manage complex medium to large-scale projects locally, nationally, or internationally.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert to lead projects through all stages to successful delivery.
  • Develop strategies to effectively manage variations and deliver quality outcomes within agreed parameters.
  • Create sustainability plans, management plans, and environment management plans.
  • Review asset management reviews, sustainability strategies, and carbon assessments.
  • Support bid preparation and tender submissions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for individuals with 5-10 years of experience in asset management within a professional services or consultancy environment.

Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or similar fields are essential.

  • Demonstrated experience working on infrastructure projects for public sector clients in Adelaide, managing storm water, asset management, and road infrastructure.
  • Strong connections and experience supporting local council clients, understanding local government legislation and processes related to asset management plans and long-term financial plans.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering and safety assurance in infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency with Excel (modelling, macros) and various asset management IT platforms.
  • Knowledge of relevant ISO Accreditation standards.
