Compliance Advisor Role Overview

This role involves working as a compliance advisor to ensure regulatory compliance and drive environmental outcomes. The individual will work within an inclusive team to identify and manage environmental compliance risks.

The job requires the ability to partner with stakeholders, provide regulatory advice, and represent the organization in interactions with regulators. A deep commitment to goal zero and personal accountability is essential for this position.

  • Key responsibilities include identifying and communicating regulatory risks, managing environmental risks through ISO 14001 management systems, providing environmental oversight, and partnering with stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A bachelor's degree or higher in a technical, environmental, or legal discipline.
  • Knowledge of state and national environmental legislation, policies, and standards.
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills.
  • Experience with ISO 14001 environmental management systems.
  • Management Systems Auditor certification (preferable).
  • Proven interpersonal skills and stakeholder engagement.
