About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Track/Civil Site Engineer to join our Rail Operations team based in Laverton North, VIC.
Rail Operations is an internal business unit within Laing O'Rourke, specializing in the self-delivery of all aspects of rail construction, working with a highly experienced team of technical experts to deliver a high portfolio of work across Victoria.
Key Responsibilities- Assisting with design process coordination
- Assisting Project Engineers with the delivery of work packages
- Assisting in weekend construction activities
- Planning and programming requirements for assigned work packages within a designated area to ensure construction activities are delivered safely and in accordance with client cost, time, quality, and scope requirements
- Quality and surveying
- Previous experience in a site engineer role
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Experience with managing contractor models
- Working with a tier 1 or 2 contractor would be beneficial
- Previous experience working on rail projects highly desirable but not essential
