Webuild S.p.A. is seeking a highly skilled Material Quality Control Engineer to join our team on the Snowy 2.0 project. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of materials used in the construction of this iconic project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and monitor all material requirements, received or delivered on site, to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
  • Surveillance of construction activities to verify compliance with quality standards.
  • Liaise with laboratory to obtain test results and ensure compliance with employer's requirements.
  • Interface with clients regarding non-conformance reports and statements of requirement.
  • Attend and witness specific activities to be inspected by the QA/QC department.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline, such as civil engineering or mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working in the construction industry in a similar role.
  • Good understanding of quality specifications and ISO AS/NZS 9001 requirements.
  • Sound experience and knowledge of construction materials and related specifications.
  • Experience in Microsoft office suite and any EMDS.
