
Psychological Recovery Specialist

As a Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner, you will work closely with individuals experiencing common mental health problems to support them in managing their recovery.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and support clients in self-managing their recovery from mental health issues, fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect.
- Conduct client-centred interviews to identify areas for improvement and risk assessments, utilising evidence-based practices.
- Make informed decisions on suitability of referrals, adhering to department protocols, and refer unsuitable clients as necessary, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Provide information and support for psychological treatments, including guided self-help and pharmacological interventions.
- Educate family members and others in treatment plans, promoting collaborative care.
- Adhere to activity contracts to minimise waiting times and ensure accessible treatment delivery, prioritising client needs.
- Attend multi-disciplinary meetings and complete data collection requirements, maintaining accurate records and contributing to decision-making processes.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure stepped care approaches, delivering person-centred services.
- Assess and integrate work and employment issues into therapy processes, providing holistic support.
- Develop an inclusive values base promoting recovery and diversity, creating a positive service environment.
- Engage in training requirements, applying learning in practice, and participate in supervision and personal development to enhance competences and clinical practice.
- Maintain professional standards and stay updated on recommendations and guidelines, upholding the highest level of service delivery.
- Protect client confidentiality and keep up-to-date with advances in cognitive behavioural therapy.

Requirements- Undergraduate degree in Psychology or a related field at 2:1 level or equivalent, demonstrating academic excellence.
