About the RoleWe are seeking dedicated professionals to join our care team in providing person-centered support to individuals with disabilities. As a disability support worker, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality services that promote inclusivity, respect, and independence.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized support to people with disabilities in their homes and during community outings.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Facilitate participation in recreational and social activities that enhance clients' quality of life.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless service delivery and continuous improvement.
- Certificate IV in Disability, Community Service, or Aged Care.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- National Police Check.
- Working with Children Check.
- First Aid certification and CPR.
- Preferred qualification: NDIS Workers Orientation.
- Eligibility to work in Australia.
- Fully COVID vaccinated.
- Current full Driver's license.
- Minimum 6 months' experience supporting people with disabilities.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Effective time management and prioritization skills.
- Commitment to professional development and evidence-based practice.
