Welcome to WAVELENGTH, a dynamic medical practice in Canberra, ACT. We are seeking a skilled General Practitioner to join our team and contribute to providing high-quality end-to-end medical care to our patients.
About the Role
This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of up to $120,000 per annum, based on 70% of gross billings. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a growing region with high patient demand, enjoy flexible working hours, and receive support from an experienced team of nurse practitioners, receptionists, and onsite allied health professionals.
Key Responsibilities
The Lead Medical Practitioner will be responsible for practicing medicine according to professional standards, maintaining effective communication with patients and the healthcare team, and contributing to the overall success of the practice.
Requirements
- Degree-qualified Doctor with AHPRA registration
- Prior experience as a General Practitioner or equivalent
- Language skills in Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Sinhala, or Urdu would be highly desirable
- Women's health experience and skills would be highly desirable
