Corporate M&A Lawyer Role

We are seeking an experienced Corporate M&A lawyer to join our team. As a Senior Associate or Special Counsel, you will be responsible for taking ownership of your own transactions across buy-side, sell-side, and advisory matters.

You will manage and mentor junior lawyers who support your deals, develop and manage a client base with the aim of building a partial practice that can lead toward partnership, and contribute to a collaborative and entrepreneurial team environment that focuses on growing the practice.

This role offers a genuine partnership pathway with a firm balancing high-quality mid-market M&A work and a low daily hours target. You will also have autonomy to progress toward partnership without mandatory business development as a core requirement.

Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership of your own transactions across buy-side, sell-side, and advisory matters.
  • Manage and mentor junior lawyers who support your deals.
  • Develop and manage a client base with the aim of building a partial practice that can lead toward partnership.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and entrepreneurial team environment that focuses on growing the practice.
  • Work on high-value matters, including deals typically in the $50m range and up to $250m.
Qualifications:
  • Senior Associate or Special Counsel with Corporate M&A experience.
