About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Truck Driver to join our team at Australia Post. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely loading and unloading parcels, driving our iconic red trucks between operational centers and customers, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely load and unload parcels using a forklift
  • Complete daily vehicle safety checks
  • Drive our modern trucks between operational centers and customers
  • Return to operational centers to unload pick-ups
  • Work on a fortnightly rotating roster
  • Initial 6-month contract with opportunity for ongoing employment based on performance

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a valid HC and Forklift license, be safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility, have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills, and be physically fit enough to load and unload parcels of varying weights and sizes.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is around $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
