Job Opportunity

As a seasoned hospitality professional, we are seeking a skilled and experienced leader to oversee the success of our banquet team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the food and beverage team in all areas, including operations, employee engagement, training, and development.
  • Attend to the needs of guests, ensuring requests and needs are met with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Maintain control of service equipment, conduct regular stock takes, and implement efficient systems for protection and maintenance.
  • Liaise with relevant departments regarding food and beverage distribution and operational matters.
  • Address operational problems and customer complaints promptly, providing solutions that meet guest expectations.
  • Ensure currency of RSA certification and adherence to liquor licensing guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership skills, with previous experience in leading a team within the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written, to effectively engage with employees and guests.
  • Passion for food and beverage service and guest engagement, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Holding an Approved Manager licence would be advantageous.
