We are seeking a skilled Merchandiser to support our client's merchandising initiatives and enhance relationships with Store and Department Managers. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to work daytime hours, have a semi-flexible schedule, and enjoy working independently - all while having an excellent support team to call upon should the need arise.

  • Key responsibilities will include understanding and executing changes to a planogram, as well as proactively identifying issues and showing initiative in solving problems.
  • A strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

This position requires the ability to work any day of the week on an 8:00 am-5:00 pm time frame, and may involve traveling up to 50 km from your region.

The ideal candidate will be energetic, independent, and enthusiastic, with strong communication skills (written and oral) and the ability to promptly respond to clients during workdays.

Please note that this role is physically demanding and requires the ability to lift up to 30-40 lbs.

In addition, you must have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.

You will also need to be computer savvy with access to a PC and the internet, and be able to take and submit photos, surveys, and notes of your work.

Requirements
  • 1+ year merchandising experience in grocery preferred but not necessary.
  • The ability to lift up to 30-40 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Computer literacy.
