Senior Risk Management Specialist

As a Senior Liability Underwriter, you will play a key role in assessing and underwriting complex liability risks. You will work closely with account management teams, agents, and brokers to craft tailored coverage solutions through expert negotiation.
You will be responsible for applying underwriting strategies to target markets and accounts, underwriting liability insurance risks following guidelines and standards, and mentoring team members to provide guidance and pursue personal development.
You will manage the liability portfolio, including processing, credit management, documentation, and risk servicing, and build relationships with internal and external customers.

- Liaise with account management and procurement efforts to support business growth.
- Mentor team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Manage the liability portfolio, ensuring efficient processes and effective customer service.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
The ideal candidate will have experience in general liability underwriting, risk management, or related fields. They will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
They will also have a customer-focused approach, with experience in pricing, portfolio management, and intermediary account management.
A relevant qualification, such as an ANZIIF Cert IV, is highly desirable.
