Job Opportunity

A seasoned operations leader is required to direct and support area technicians and engineers, providing work instructions and task allocation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Direct and assist area technicians and engineers in work instruction/task allocation.
  • Lead or assist technical investigations related to plant incidents or troubles, collaborating with relevant departments to identify root causes and propose recommendations.
  • Oversee or assist process-related technical studies for improving operability, debottlenecking, loss minimization, energy efficiency, and other areas.
  • Implement technical procedures and product optimization initiatives such as cost reduction, quality control, process improvement, customer support, and new product development.
  • Coach engineers, supervise their work, and ensure they meet job standards by enhancing their competencies.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in process engineering or operational engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of total experience working in a refinery or petrochemical operation environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of process engineering practices, basic plant operations, and economic principles.
  • Technical expertise including low-density polyethylene knowledge.
