Deputy Head of Preparatory School – Teaching and Learning Leader

This is an outstanding opportunity to assume a pivotal leadership role within our esteemed academic community as the Deputy Head of Preparatory School – Teaching and Learning. You will be at the forefront of driving innovation in teaching and learning, guiding a high-performing team of educators across Reception to Year 6.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and mentoring pedagogical leaders and preparatory teachers to deliver best-practice teaching aligned with the science of learning.
  • Driving curriculum innovation and review cycles, ensuring alignment with the Australian Curriculum and strategic priorities.
  • Overseeing assessment, reporting, and data-informed teaching practices to enhance student outcomes.
  • Modeling exemplary pedagogy to support staff development and growth.
  • Coordinating professional learning, standardised testing, and inclusive education provision.
  • Building strong relationships with staff, students, and families, promoting a culture of trust, collaboration, and shared purpose.
