About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our dynamic team at Veritas Recruitment. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating projects from design through to completion, overseeing deliveries to/from site and coordinating installation crews.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project budgets and ensure seamless transition to the project team.
  • Establish initial project budgets based on manufacturing inputs and historical labour costs.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets throughout the life cycle.
  • Review project scope of works to align with client specifications.
  • Monitor client requests, confirm delivery dates, and ensure site readiness.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to meet project budgets and manage any overruns in real-time.
  • Conduct spot checks to ensure compliance with WHS and quality requirements.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to nurture relationships and resolve conflicts if necessary.
  • Attend or arrange pre-site start meetings as required.
  • Update claim registers and maintain up-to-date information for accurate monthly invoicing.
  • Support the sales team with contract reviews, risk assessments, project feedback, and cost sheet development.
Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma qualified with a minimum of 10 years' experience in project management within the design/manufacture/construct space.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Projects, Teamwork Projects, Procore, or similar.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong time management abilities with a proven track record of managing competing priorities and delivering high-quality work under pressure.
  • Can-do attitude with adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills with a focus on anticipating and resolving issues.
  • Demonstrated construction experience, particularly with modular site assemblies.
