Project Management Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled project manager to lead the delivery of project outcomes across the Darwin Correctional Precinct.

This role involves planning, executing, and controlling all aspects of ongoing and new projects, either directly or through delegation with the on-site facility team.

  • Prepare and submit accurate forecasting for capital and lifecycle works in conjunction with the contract manager.
  • Ensure project timeframes and scope are maintained, managing stakeholder engagement to avoid deviations.
  • Represent the organization in discussions and negotiations with stakeholders, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project deliverables and outcomes.
  • Ensure the project team adheres to high standards of health and safety management required by regulatory bodies and customers.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or a related field.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Ability to obtain clearance to work in a prison environment.
  • Proven experience in project management.
  • Working knowledge of the construction industry and understanding of multiple trade disciplines.
  • Experience working on large commercial sites or correctional facilities is preferred.
