Job Overview

An ADF Rehabilitation Consultant plays a vital role in supporting military personnel who have sustained physical and/or psychological injuries. This unique role offers meaningful and purposeful rewards, making it an exciting opportunity to support the journey from rehab to healing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care and support to injured personnel.
  • Conduct various assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise, including functional capacity evaluations and ergonomic assessments.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including employees who have suffered injury, illness, or trauma, medical specialists, treatment providers, and allied health professionals.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor rehabilitation plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
Qualifications and Success Factors
  • Current registration or membership with relevant industry bodies.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Osteopathy, or Social Work.
  • Australian Citizenship.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Passion for helping people rehabilitate and recover.
