Senior Information Governance Specialist

The role of Manager Information Management and Right to Information is a critical position within the organization, responsible for ensuring compliance with legislation such as the Right to Information Act 2009 (RTI Act), the Personal Information Protection Act 2004, and the Children, Young People and Their Families Act 1997. This involves providing specialist leadership in the management and release of departmental information, including right to information applications, requests to access personal information, responding to subpoenas and other requests for information.
The successful candidate will oversee the operations of the Information Services Team, coordinating sensitive and complex information requests from various court and tribunals, ensuring responses meet legislative and court-imposed timeframes. Additionally, the role involves making delegated decisions under the RTI Act, maintaining high standards of confidentiality and professional judgment.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead a team in delivering exceptional information governance and service delivery.
