Job Title: Instrumentation Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation Technician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with complex systems and have a passion for troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Job Description

The Instrumentation Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing instrumentation systems used in various industrial processes. This includes working with pneumatic, electronic, and microcomputer instruments to measure and control variables such as pressure, flow, temperature, level, motion, force, and chemical composition.

The successful candidate will work closely with engineers and process operators to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and efficiently. They will also conduct risk assessments, calibrate and maintain components and instruments according to manufacturer specifications, and install new or existing plant equipment and processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills, both written and verbal. You should have a valid driver's license, completed training in First Aid, H2S, CSTS/PST, and at least three years of experience in the construction, maintenance, and/or electrical/instrumentation industry.

You must also be registered as an Apprentice or certified as a Journeyman Instrumentation Technician. Additionally, you should have experience working in a fast-paced environment and have a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
