Land Access Specialist Career

Job Overview

This role is pivotal in securing access to public and private land, navigating complex negotiations, and ensuring the delivery of critical infrastructure.

A highly skilled individual with exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills is required to lead engagement with landowners and stakeholders impacted by major transmission projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic guidance on sustainable asset positioning and land access agreements.
  • Manage relationships with landowners impacted by major infrastructure projects.
  • Coordinate with internal specialists to deliver clear, actionable land access advice.
  • Proactively manage conflict resolution to enable smooth delivery of works and uphold a strong reputation.
  • Contribute to asset placement reports by identifying opportunities and constraints.
Requirements
  • Hold a relevant degree or bring extensive hands-on experience in land access, easements, and infrastructure development.
  • Skilled in extracting, analysing, and managing complex datasets across domains.
  • Deep understanding of linear infrastructure systems and legislative frameworks governing land access and easement acquisition.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously under pressure, manage risks, meet deadlines, and ensure compliance.
