Job DescriptionThis role will play a crucial part in shaping Australia's efforts to reduce plastic pollution, aligning with Griffith's core values of social responsibility and environmental sustainability. You will be working within Research Program 1 under the supervision of Prof Stefanie Feih from Griffith, collaborating with industry partners to characterise and advance recycled plastic material formulations for specific applications and critical material specifications.
The successful candidate will lead industry engagement, chemically and mechanically characterise recycled plastic materials, and develop qualification systems to identify performance-reducing contaminants within recycled material sources. You will benefit from an extended education and training program, including training in communications, innovation management, and leadership, as well as microcredentials and an annual Design Challenge.
