This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious professional to take their career to the next level. As a Scrub Scout, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the operating room for surgery, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are sterile and ready for use.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Scrub Scout, preferably in general, emergency, and orthopaedic trauma surgeries. They will also possess strong knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures, excellent communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth within our organisation. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgery
  • Assist the surgical team by scrubbing in, passing instruments, and anticipating the needs of the surgeon
  • Monitor and manage the sterile field to ensure patient safety and prevent infection
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to provide optimal care during general, emergency, and orthopaedic trauma surgeries
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of procedures and patient information
