Clinical Specialist Role

This role is ideal for a passionate and dedicated professional who can deliver advanced medical technologies to patients in need.

As a Clinical Specialist, you will collaborate with leading healthcare professionals to see the impact of your work on individual lives. Your primary focus will be to support new therapy introduction of Pulsed Field Ablation through our recent launch of the FARAPULSE system, demonstrating clinical expertise to influence superior outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical knowledge of electrophysiology, biophysics of radiofrequency and cryoablation, and Pulsed Field Ablation on cardiac tissue.
  • Offer clinical support including basic trouble-shooting, and clinical guidance to diagnose and treat cardiac arrhythmias.
  • Develop deep technical understanding of products and provide training to Cardiac Electrophysiologists, Cardiac Physiologists, and Nurses.
  • Travel as required to meet customer demand and attend cases face to face or remotely with customers, operating Boston Scientific products where appropriate.
Key Competencies:
  • A thorough understanding of Cardiac Electrophysiology.
  • Biophysics of radiofrequency and cryoablation.
  • A thorough understanding of Pulsed Field Ablation (Pulsed Direct Current) on cardiac tissue and a biophysical understanding of tissue selectivity.
  • Successful completion of all relevant training.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrophysiology procedure, products, and treatment applications.
