About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to lead our team at Marcs & David Lawrence in Myer Canberra. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for driving sales, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining a visually appealing store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service and Loyalty: Provide outstanding customer service, build strong relationships with customers, and foster a loyal customer base.
  • Sales Performance: Achieve sales budgets, exceed targets, and drive revenue growth.
  • Visual Merchandising: Develop and implement visually appealing store displays, window displays, and in-store promotions.
  • Stock Control: Manage inventory levels, maintain accurate stock records, and ensure efficient stockroom operations.
  • Team Management: Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure excellent customer service and sales results.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Analyze sales data, identify trends, and provide insights to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a store manager in fashion retail.
  • Concession management experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent sales skills, previous experience exceeding store budgets/KPIs.
  • Excellent communication and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Proven success in managing and growing a VIP customer base.
  • Confidence delivering first-class service at all times to all customers.
  • An abundance of energy, positivity, and an ability to motivate others.
  • A huge passion for fashion.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, including previous experience managing a high-performing team.
  • Love for our brand and be proud to be our key brand ambassador.
