Job Title: BMS Controls Design Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled BMS engineer to join our Melbourne team, working on advanced building management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver cutting-edge BMS solutions across major projects, with a focus on Tridium Niagara framework.
  • Design, program, and implement Niagara/Tridium BMS systems for HVAC, lighting, and energy management.
  • Integrate IoT devices and protocols (BACnet, Modbus, MQTT, LoRaWAN) into building systems.
  • Collaborate with software developers on cloud-based analytics and dashboards.
  • Provide technical support, remote troubleshooting, and maintenance for client systems.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support innovation in smart building technologies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' hands-on experience with BMS design, programming, and delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of Tridium Niagara and related BMS protocols.
  • Background in HVAC systems, controls, and energy optimisation.
  • Familiarity with Node-RED, SkySpark, or similar IoT platforms (advantageous).
  • Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Building Systems preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
