Role Overview

This freelance opportunity allows you to work at your own pace and from the comfort of your own home, enhancing the content and quality of digital maps used by millions worldwide.

As a detail-oriented individual with research passion and good understanding of national and local geography, you will be working on a project aimed at verifying and comparing data, determining relevance and accuracy of information in a web-based environment.

A Day in the Life of an Analyst:

  • In this role, you will contribute to enhancing the content and quality of digital maps that are used by millions of people worldwide.
  • Completing research and evaluation tasks, you will verify and compare data, and determine the relevance and accuracy of information.
Key Responsibilities

Some key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Verifying and comparing data, ensuring its relevance and accuracy in a web-based environment.
  • Conducting online research using search engines, online maps, and website information.
  • Following guidelines and providing high-quality results in a timely manner.
Qualifications

No previous professional experience is required; however, working on this project will require passing basic requirements and going through a standard assessment process. You will need to demonstrate flexibility in adapting to diverse task types and possess strong analytical skills.

Basic Requirements
  • Full Professional Proficiency in English
  • Being a resident in Australia for the last 2 consecutive years, having familiarity with current and historical business, media, sport, news, social media, and cultural affairs in Australia.
  • Ability to follow guidelines and conduct online research.
  • Flexibility to work across a diverse set of task types.
  • Daily access to a broadband internet connection, computer, and relevant software.
Assessment

To be hired into the program, you'll take an open book qualification exam, which will determine your suitability for the position, and complete ID verification. Our team will provide you with guidelines and learning materials before your qualification exam.
