Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled irrigation professional to manage our water management systems in a rural town. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in public works, construction, landscaping, and grounds maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems including pumps, pipes, and valves.
  • Perform routine checks on equipment and undertake necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Apply pesticides and fertilizers as per established protocols.
  • Monitor water quality to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma and at least five years of experience in a related field.
  • Prior training in turf management is an asset.
  • Valid Class B CDL Driver's license with air brake and tanker endorsements.
  • A valid hydraulic engineer license.
  • A commercial pesticide applicator's license with subcategory 37 turf.
